One day in 2016 I received a message from an elderly German lawyer from Berlin,
In the message, I learned about a collection of art paintings that were stolen from my father during World War II.
Thus I set out on a journey to find my grandfather's lost works, accompanied by a lawyer who fought in the Wehrmacht, innocence and determination that justice would prevail.
Joining me on the journey was Roberto Gratz, whose grandfather had a collection of 250 works of art.
This is a journey of searching back and forth in time, in which we are exposed to the world of art in which our ancestors worked and to the world of art today, which is filled with struggles and attempts at control. The past that is revealed to us overshadows every work of art.
